Help Kids Enjoy a Growing Adventure at the Fair!
The San Diego County Fair’s Plant*Grow*Eat program teaches children about agriculture and nutrition. The Don Diego Bus Program enables students from Title 1 elementary schools throughout the San Diego area to participate. For many children, this marks their first time to the Fair; for some, their first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean!
This year, students will be visiting The Farm at the Fairgrounds during the week of May 20-24
Students will partake in educational activities delving into various aspects of agriculture, encompassing plants and farm animals alike.
Each student will receive seeds and materials to nurture their own plant at home.
Students will receive a ticket to return to the Fair when it opens.

While this year's Plant*Grow*Eat Program is undergoing some changes due to the Fair starting later and schools getting out earlier, the enthusiasm remains high. Numerous classes from Pre-Kindergarten through 6th Grade are excited to embark on a journey at The Farm.

The Don Diego Legacy Brick program enables you to create a customized brick that will be permanently enshrined at the Don Diego Legacy Fountain located in the Plaza de Mexico at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Your purchase enables Don Diego to continue providing educational scholarships and grants.
